Blackbushe Airport Brand Refresh

The Brief

Blackbushe Airport was looking to refresh its brand identity, creating a modern look and feel that would position the airport for the future while respecting its heritage and established reputation.

The objective was to develop a distinctive identity that reflected Blackbushe Airport’s professionalism, precision and ambition, strengthening its appeal to existing and future customers, partners and stakeholders.

The Challenge

The challenge was to modernise the Blackbushe Airport brand without losing the qualities that made it recognisable and trusted.

The new identity needed to balance heritage with progress, creating a contemporary look and feel that would resonate with a new generation while remaining authentic to the airport’s history and operations.

The Solution

We developed a refreshed brand identity for Blackbushe Airport, centred around a bespoke icon inspired by the geometry of its original runways.

Viewed from above, the three runways form the shape of a subtle ‘B’, creating a meaningful connection between the airport’s heritage, its name and its new visual identity.

This distinctive mark became the foundation of a cleaner, more contemporary logo system and wider visual identity. Alongside the main Blackbushe Airport identity, we also developed bespoke logos for Airport Flight Training and The Pathfinder cafe, creating a connected and consistent brand family across the airport’s different offerings.

Every element was designed to create a confident and professional brand presence, bringing greater consistency and clarity across communications and customer touchpoints.

The Result

The Blackbushe Airport rebrand introduced a confident, contemporary visual identity that respects the airport’s heritage while looking firmly to the future.

Built around a distinctive runway-inspired icon, the new brand provides a strong foundation for future growth, helping position Blackbushe Airport for a new generation of customers, partners and stakeholders.
