Bringing Global Leaders Together in Punta Cana
Overview
Viva Esprit partnered with a global organisation to deliver an exclusive leadership event in Punta Cana for 143 Vice Presidents from around the world. Designed as a celebration of the business unit’s success over the previous year, the programme focused on bringing senior leaders together in a more intimate and relaxed environment while providing a luxury delegate experience.
Over three days and three nights, Viva Esprit managed delegate communications, event logistics, production, supplier coordination, and onsite delivery, working closely with local partners to ensure a smooth experience from arrival through to departure.


The Experience
Hosted in Punta Cana, the programme combined business sessions with social experiences designed to encourage connection and celebration. Delegates attended joint plenary sessions and business unit meetings supported by live production, theatre-style staging, and virtual dial-in capabilities for remote participation.
The social programme featured a series of relaxed yet premium dining experiences across the destination. The opening evening welcomed delegates with a joint beachside BBQ reception, while the second evening was originally planned as a rooftop buffet before being relocated indoors due to weather conditions. The final evening included a cocktail reception, three-course dinner, and after-party, creating a more informal setting for delegates to network and celebrate together.
A custom event app also supported the delegate experience by providing event information, schedules, and live updates throughout the programme.
Sustainability & Delivery
Sustainability was considered throughout the event planning process, with shared airport transfers coordinated through detailed flight manifests to reduce transport impact. The team also worked closely with suppliers to reuse floral décor across multiple events, reduce single-use plastics through the use of water cartons, and encourage recycling through clearly separated waste stations onsite.
Delivering the programme required close collaboration with local suppliers and partners across different time zones and working practices. Viva Esprit adapted communication styles and planning processes throughout the project to ensure all suppliers remained aligned and operational delivery stayed on track.
