The event’s purpose was to address client challenges such as burn-out in the office, redefine the finance department as future shapers of the business, emphasise growth with intention, insight, and impact, and demonstrate that it's not just about envisioning the future but actively moving towards it. By pushing delegates out of their comfort zones, the event aimed to inspire them to take this mindset back to their daily working life, encouraging them to embrace change, innovation, and forward-thinking strategies.
Our goal was to create a series of team builds that pushed delegates beyond self-doubt and overcome their internal fears . We created daring, exciting team challenges that, once conquered, brought a sense of fulfilment whilst still reinforcing the event's key message.
Fire and Glass walking: Grounding themselves firstly on shards of glass, the delegates used resilience and pushed aside any feelings of doubt before they took their first steps of self achievement to walk along hot coals.
Arrow breaking and board chop: Participants took on a powerful mindset challenge by placing the pointed end of an arrow against a board, with the other end positioned at their collarbone. With focus and determination, they pushed forward to snap the arrow, before splitting a wooden board with a single hand chop. The boards were set on fire, upping the fear factor!
Escapology: Tied with chains and padlocks, the delegates showed empowerment and strength by manipulating chains to escape the barriers locked around them. This activity showed them that sometimes the fear is in your head, not what is actually in front of you.
Fearless speaker: Catapulting the delegates into the limelight with a task to perform a comedy sketch live on stage to an audience. Letting their creativity flow to be seen, heard and break out of a ‘normal working day’, encouraging quick thinking, confidence, and presence whilst under pressure
We delivered impactful theme and décor enhancements that evoked the elemental power of fire and ice, offering an unforgettable sensory experience. Where possible, the props we used were made of sustainable materials and recycled paper was used for our invites.
