Luxury Incentive Programme in Panama
Overview
A leading global technology company partnered with Viva Esprit to deliver a luxury incentive and recognition programme for 560 top-performing employees and their guests from across the world. Designed to celebrate achievement, strengthen engagement, and motivate future success, the four-day experience combined luxury hospitality with immersive cultural experiences in Panama.
Hosted at an exclusive beachfront resort, the programme included a full hotel buyout to create a fully personalised delegate experience. Viva Esprit managed every aspect of the event, from venue sourcing and contract negotiation through to logistics, creative production, delegate management, and onsite delivery.

The Experience
The itinerary balanced business, celebration, and exploration across four days in Panama. Guests were welcomed with a beach club-inspired dinner by the pool, setting the tone for the programme, before taking part in business sessions, cultural experiences, and destination activities throughout the stay.
Each evening was designed with its own unique identity. The Cultural Dinner at the Biomuseo celebrated Panamanian mythology and heritage through live performances, immersive entertainment, and theatrical storytelling. The final Gala Dinner transformed the ballroom into a rainforest-inspired setting featuring dramatic lighting, projection mapping, live drummers, aerial performers, and a fireworks finale.
Delegates also experienced a curated programme of activities including rainforest adventures, wildlife safaris, sailing trips, Panama Canal tours, and cultural excursions, creating opportunities to relax, connect, and experience the destination beyond the event itself.
CSR & Sustainability
As part of the programme, delegates partnered with local charities to build and donate bicycles and helmets to children within local communities. The activity created a meaningful opportunity for attendees to give back while supporting local organisations in Panama.
Sustainability was considered throughout the planning and delivery process, with the use of digital signage and a custom event app helping to reduce printed materials. Viva Esprit also prioritised local suppliers, performers, artisans, and community partners wherever possible.

The Result
Despite the complexity of managing 560 international delegates, multiple local suppliers, and Panama’s unpredictable weather conditions, the programme was delivered successfully from start to finish. One standout moment came just one week before the event, when the schedule was restructured to accommodate the UEFA Champions League Final, including the installation of a custom-built beach screen for a shared viewing experience.
The result was a memorable incentive programme that celebrated employee success, strengthened engagement and loyalty, and delivered an experience delegates will remember long after returning home.
