Production Manager

About the Role
We are looking for an exceptional Production Manager to join our team in Bagshot, Surrey. You will be responsible for specifying, procuring and managing the delivery of all production and technical services for an event.
Key Responsibilities
Work collaboratively with clients and internal teams to translate creative briefs into technically sound, deliverable solutions.
Develop detailed production budgets and schedules, securing best value from suppliers through negotiation and industry knowledge.
Plan and manage all on-site production elements including AV, staging, lighting, and logistics from set-up through to de-rig.
Act as the key point of contact on-site for production, liaising with event managers, suppliers, venues, and clients.
Own and resolve any issues, adapting plans where necessary to ensure seamless delivery.
Build and maintain a trusted network of contractors and suppliers, managing contracts and terms to ensure quality and cost-effectiveness.
Ensure all legal, regulatory, and health & safety standards are met and adhered to throughout the event lifecycle.
Establish and continually refine production processes to ensure high standards across all events.
Skills and Experience
Extensive experience managing large-scale, complex events and multidisciplinary teams
Experience working on international events preferred
Strong knowledge of audio-visual solutions and technical production
In-depth understanding of health & safety regulations and on-site compliance
Financially astute with the ability to create and manage production budgets
Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, and other standard business software
Skilled in negotiation, mediation, and supplier management
Experience using CAD software for technical layouts (preferred)
Confident in presenting information clearly and persuasively to clients and colleagues
